To support our customers and meet the aspirations held by the Group, we are currently recruiting for an Asset Management Officer to join our Finance Governance and Asset Team on a job share basis.  The hours of work will be 17.5 hours per week and the successful candidate must be able to work Fridays.

The successful candidate will have a relevant qualification in Asset Management or Construction or a comparable level of experience in a similar environment. In addition, they will also be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of:

  • Playing a lead role in the identification, preparation and continual improvement of our asset management information held on our ICT systems.
  • Maintaining the externally sourced Stock Condition Survey to ensure that this record is kept up to date on ICT systems and reflects all works carried out, working with surveyors to ensure this data is refreshed on a cyclical basis.
  • Assisting in identifying one and five-year delivery models for our Asset Management planned maintenance and single contract works.
  • Managing contract files using FHG’s ICT systems, providing general office support to the Asset Manager and Clerk of Works as required.
  • Supporting the Asset Manager in the ongoing identification and management of sites for new housing development, including liaising with contractors, consultants, Fife Council and the Scottish Government.
  • Working with the Asset Manager to develop and manage the action plans arising from each of the major component replacement programmes, highlighting performance and achievements to the team and liaising with other teams as required.
  • Taking the lead in the collation, validation and interpretation of performance information relating to the asset management programme, including:
    • Scottish Housing Quality Standard (SHQS);
    • Energy Efficiency Scottish Social Housing (EESSH and EESSH2);
    • Energy Performance Certificates (EPC);
    • Electrical inspections;
    • Heat, fire and smoke detection installations;
    • Fire safety checks;
    • Asbestos Register; and
    • L8 water safety checks
  • Must have a full driving licence
