This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

Could your skills make a difference in housing?

You don’t need years of experience in housing to be a great Housing Officer.

Already in housing? Great! Bringing skills from another sector, such as social work, policing or community services? We'd love to hear from you too!

We want someone who is confident working with people to build positive relationships. You will also need to be comfortable handling challenging situations and making sound decisions.

As a Housing Officer with Fife Housing Group, you’ll manage your own area, providing a customer-focused service to the tenants who live there. Your role will include tenancy and estate management. This will involve addressing antisocial behaviour, handling allocations and rent arrears. You will also work with partner organisations to support vulnerable customers.

We’re looking for someone with strong communication and prioritisation skills. You will also be approachable and able to connect well with customers, colleagues, and partners.

Ideally, you’ll hold CIH Level 4 or similar, or be working towards this. We’ll also consider candidates with relevant experience who are willing to undertake CIH Level 4 if selected.

If you're adaptable, comfortable with responsibility and passionate about delivering for people and communities, we’d love to hear from you.

Your experience might be more relevant to housing than you think.

Applicants should also embody our brand values by being accountable, firm but fair, open and honest, and versatile.

You can find the full job description in the ‘Documents’ section below. This provides further information on the main responsibilities of the role. There is also a person specification which details essential and desirable attributes.

If you have the right skills and experience, we want to hear from you. Strictly no agencies please.

You must complete our online application form to be considered for this vacancy. We do not accept CVs.

Fife Housing Group is an Equal Opportunities Employer. We welcome applications from all sections of the community.
